Unfortunately it wasn’t quite what i hoped for or expected. I thought that the party package was great for the price as although a little pricey, the food was included aswell as a few extras which isn’t offered at most other places for party packages unless you pay extra. I recently booked a superhero themed party here for my little ones 4th birthday as she is superhero obsessed. I often take my little one to Safari as it is a great softplay with really good food. There are obviously plenty of parents with way lower standards than me because the place was packed with disinterested parents and kids running wild but this is no excuse for the place to rest on it’s laurels and be happy with below par standards of cleanliness and customer service. ![]() In summary this place is a disgrace and I will never go back. Apparently use of the go karts is an extra £1.25 each on top of the £24 I had already paid!!! This wasn’t explained on entry and when I queried it with the operative he tried to summon a manager over to explain, she shot a death stare my way, waved a dismissive hand and walked away - great customer service!!! Having two very upset little girls on my hands I wanted an explanation. I know you’re dealing with kids but that’s why it’s even more important to make sure the toilets are regularly checked and cleaned.įinal nail for me was when my kids where denied access to the go karts having stood and queued for 20 minutes. All but 1 of the toilets was blocked up with faeces and toilet paper. My little girl needed the bathroom, ventured in there cautiously as the state of the rest of the place was making me wary for the state of the toilets, turns out I was right to be cautious. To be fair that drink was ok once I got it but £4 for an instant hot chocolate is excessive I think. ![]() Waited ages to get a drink, one poor girl serving behind the counter was nowhere near enough considering the amount of people in there. So busy and massive that if you have small children and you care about being able to keep an eye on them you will likely leave with a nervous breakdown. On the face it that’s not too bad but when you get in it’s an absolute zoo. Ventured into this place yesterday for the first time…and the last!!!! Right from the get go it was disorganised and frantic, none of the kids working there seemed to have a clue what was going and I was sent from 1 person to another to another before finally being asked to pay £12 each for the kids to go in for 2 hours. Overall a really good experience for our daughter and us, we would not only recommend but definitely think about returning next year. The food options for the party were really good and portions per person were generous. Booking the party online was dead simple Safari was not easy to get hold of to make changes but after we left a message they called back usually within an hour which we really couldn't fault and every change was put in place. In essence all we had to do as parents was sit back drinking coffee and watch the kids enjoy themselves. She talked us through how the party would run, she handled the cake, party bags and set up for us, but she also engaged with all the children in the party including two very little ones. She was welcoming right from arrival, engaging with our little one and wishing her a Happy Birthday. We were a little hesitant at first, as it is a more expensive party than other soft plays in the area, but we now know it was worth it! Our party host Imogen was wonderful, she deserves high praise. ![]() Staffers also host unforgettable soirees for birthdays, which split guests' time between the jungle gym, party room, and video arcade. My daughter had her 5th birthday party this weekend in the Prince and Princess room at Safari Play in Peterborough. Jodi also hosts adult classes, which emphasize fun, varied fitness, from cardio to strength training, to build parents' stamina during capture-the-flag tournaments at the office. Small-group fitness classes teach children about nutrition before building up their appetites with activities such as dashes through the jungle gym or sprints across a running track peppered with hurdles. ![]() As kids traverse the gym, their bodies covertly enjoy a full cardio workout while building balance, hand-eye coordination, and confidence. Guarded by a toucan and gorilla, the gym's labyrinthine interior conceals bridges, tunnels, ladders, and slides, as well as a trapdoor to the Fountain of Youth. With the help of her kids, certified personal trainer Jodi Hamilton-Eichensehr designed a family-friendly playspace celebrating the fun of fitness with games and obstacle courses centered on a giant animal-themed jungle gym.
